FOCUS

Our expertise

We can carry out all aspects of design including engineering, procurement and project management. We pride ourselves on our engineering discipline, using data-driven decisions and the concept of failure mode avoidance to deliver the best product.

Reach the full potential of your product.

Our engineering team spans every discipline required for battery pack design and development.

High performing stable
batteries for all scales

Our engineering team spans every discipline required to develop the optimal system, from mechanical, electronic and software engineering talent.

Design & Define

Cell selection

We'll work with you to understand your performance, sustainability and economic requirements to choose the right cell for your application. We're not ties to any cell manufacturer or technology, so offer an agnostic approach.

Pack configuration

Our engineers will help you define voltage, energy and power metrics for your battery, taking into account its likely interactions with the rest of your system.

Quality

We practice Quality Functional Deployment to gather customer requirements and turn them into products or services. We prioritise the voice of the customer in making decision on product features and targets.

Cooling system

Correct cooling system sizing comes from understanding your use of the battery over a full day. We've implemented passive, air and liquid cooling systems, with cell side, base or immersion technologies as needed to manage extended use of the battery pack.

Mechanical design

Our team are experienced in use of metals, plastics and composites to achieve the right balance of time, cost, durability and lightness for your application. With in-house prototyping and vibration testing, we get regular feedback to shorten development times and reduce risk.

Performance

Once we've chosen a target cell, we build it into a predesigned mini-module and run it over your target power profile to demonstrate it's performance in a few days, rather than waiting months for the first full scale prototype, or relying on simulations that may be compromised by inherent assumptions.
