Design & Define

Shock testing

Our IMV-i250 rig conducts crucial shock testing, simulating sudden impacts or drops that batteries may experience during transportation or use. It delivers shocks up to 150g for loads under 12 kg, and 50g for heavier components. This testing evaluates structural integrity, internal connections, and overall resilience of battery packs, ensuring they can withstand real-world stress events.

Vibration

Our state-of-the-art IMV-i250 vibration rig offers precise simulation of real-world conditions. With a wide frequency range of 5 - 2500 Hz and a robust load capacity of up to 600 kg, this advanced system enables thorough vibration testing for a variety of battery sizes and configurations.

Thermal & Humidity

We have 2 advanced thermal chambers, each with climate control capabilities. These chambers operate across a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. With generous interior dimensions of 72x68x42 cm and 70x70x70 cm respectively, they accommodate various battery sizes for comprehensive thermal and humidity testing.

Pack, Module & Cell Performance

Using our array of bi-directional power supplies, we can efficiently charge and discharge batteries anywhere from 5 to 1500 volts. With BMS integration we can measure and report cell performance live during operation allowing for metrics to be delivered mid test.

Certifying your battery pack or module with our in-house UN38.3 certification process means you can drastically reduce shipping costs, validate performance against industry standard tests and ensure compliance with international safety regulations.

Ageing tests

Using a mixture between our power supplies, thermal chambers and coolant systems; we can emulate cell, module or pack life cycles 24/7 to simulate battery performance over its entire life span.
